1. Sign Up for the Agentforce Developer Edition Org

  1. Sign up for a free [Developer Edition org with the product specialist agent](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/promo/orgs/agentforce-for-slack-on-trailhead).
  2. Fill out the form and click Sign me up.
  3. Open the activation email, click Verify Account, and set your password and challenge question.

2. Activate Einstein, Einstein Bots, and Agentforce

  1. Click the gear icon and select Setup.
  2. In Quick Find, search for and select Einstein Setup, and ensure Einstein is On.
  3. In Quick Find, search for and select Einstein Bots, and set it to On (dismiss any welcome modal).
  4. In the Search features box, enter and select Agentforce (Default).
  5. Select Get Started, Turn On, then Confirm.

3. Locate Product Management Agent

  1. Open the App Launcher and select Agentforce Studio.
  2. Confirm Product Management Agent is on the list.

4. Retrieve Your Domain URL

  1. In Setup, search for and select My Domain.
  2. Copy the URL in the Current My Domain URL field (format: yourdomainname-dev-ed.develop.my.salesforce.com).

5. Retrieve Your Trailhead Slack Playground

  1. Scroll to the Challenge section (Verify Step).
  2. Select your Trailhead email, check I accept the Slack Developer Terms of Service.
  3. Select Create Slack Playground.
  4. Select Launch to open the playground, then I Agree on the terms modal.

6. Request a Connection to Salesforce

  1. In Slack, select your workspace name to open the dropdown.
  2. Navigate to Tools & settings | Manage Salesforce Organizations.
  3. Select Connect Salesforce Org.
  4. Paste your domain URL into the Salesforce org field.
  5. Uncheck Map user accounts automatically.
  6. Select Request Connection, then Okay.

7. Approve the Connection Request

  1. In Setup, search for and select Manage Slack Connection.
  2. Check the checkbox to agree to terms.
  3. Select Approve.

8. Activate the Connection in Slack

  1. In Slack, go to Workspace name | Tools & settings | Manage Salesforce organizations.
  2. In the Connection status column, select View Details.
  3. Select Activate, then Activate again in the modal.

9. Add Your Slack User to Salesforce

  1. Select the Users tab, then Add individually.
  2. Search for and select your Slack username (appended with "(you)").
  3. Select Grant Access to 1 Person.

10. Sign Your Slack User into Salesforce

  1. Go back to Slack and refresh.
  2. In the "Bring Salesforce data into Slack" modal, select Sign in to Salesforce.
  3. Select Continue, then Continue to Salesforce.
  4. Enter your admin login credentials, then Login and Allow.
