1. Enable Data Streams

  1. Launch your Data 360 and Agentforce playground.
  2. Open the App Launcher and select Data Cloud.
  3. Click the Data Streams tab, then New.
  4. Click Salesforce CRM, then Next.
  5. Page down to Custom Bundles and click AIPlusData.
  6. Click Next, leave field selections as is, then Next.
  7. Click Deploy (if it errors, click Deploy again).
  8. Refresh the page, then for each data stream select Refresh Now → Full Refresh → Refresh Now.
  9. Verify Success for the new streams and that Total Records is greater than zero.

2. Set Up Identity Resolution

  1. Click the Identity Resolutions tab, then New.
  2. Click Create New Ruleset, then Next.
  3. Leave default selected in the Data Space menu.
  4. For Primary DMO, choose Individual.
  5. For Ruleset ID, enter ccid, then Next.
  6. For Ruleset Name, enter Guest Name and Email.
  7. For Description, enter Reconcile Reserve-o-matic contact data with Salesforce contact data.
  8. Disable Run jobs automatically, then Save.
  9. Click Configure, then Next, then Configure.
  10. Choose Fuzzy Name and Normalized Email, then Next twice, then Save.
  11. Click Run Ruleset and refresh until Last Job Status shows Succeeded.

3. Verify External Reservations Relationship

  1. Click the Data Model tab, then ExternalReservation.
  2. Click the Relationships tab and ensure a relationship is present and active.
  3. If no relationship is listed, click Edit and add: Field Contact ID, Cardinality N:1, Related Object Individual, Related Field Individual Id, then Save & Close.

4. Connect Data 360 and CRM with Enrichment

  1. Click the Setup icon, then Setup.
  2. Click Object Manager, then Contact.
  3. Click Data Cloud Related List, then New.
  4. For Data Cloud Object, choose ExternalReservation, then Next.
  5. Update Child Relationship Name to Reservations, then Next.
  6. Update Related list label to Reservations, then Next.
  7. Click Lightning Record Pages, then Contact Record Page, then Edit.
  8. Drag a Dynamic Related List - Single into the Related tab above Opportunities.
  9. Under Related List, choose Reservations.
  10. Add fields Check-in Date, Check-out Date, Room Type, and Reservation Status; delete Record ID.
  11. Add a filter: Field Check-in Date, Operator not equal to.
  12. Click Done, then Save, then close the Lightning App Builder tab.
  13. In the Sales app, open Contacts, find Sofia Rodriguez, and verify three reservations appear.

5. Finish a Flow to Log Guest Events

  1. Open the App Launcher and select Flows, then the All Flows list view.
  2. Click Create Check-in Guest Event, then Open Flow.
  3. Configure Unified Link 1: Data Source Data Cloud Object, Data Space default, Object Unified Link Individual ccid; filter Field Individual Id, Value ContactRecordId; Save.
  4. Configure Unified Link 2: same object; filter Field Unified Individual Id, Value {!Unified_Link_1.UnifiedRecordId__c}; add condition Field Data Source Object, Operator Starts With, Value External; Save.
  5. Configure Reservation 1: Object ExternalReservation; filter Field Contact ID, Value {!Unified_Link_2.SourceRecordId__c}; Sort Order Descending, Sort By Check_in_Date_c__c; Save.
  6. Configure Event Summary: Value Check-in date of {!Reservation_1.Check_in_Date_c__c}, check-out date of {!Reservation_1.Check_out_Date_c__c}, for room type {!Reservation_1.Room_type_c__c}; Save.
  7. Click Activate and close the Flow tab.

6. Create a Check-in Agentforce Action

  1. Click the Setup icon, then Setup.
  2. In Setup Quick Find, search for and select Salesforce Go.
  3. In Search features, enter and select Agentforce Studio.
  4. Click Get Started, Turn On, then Confirm.
  5. Open the App Launcher and select Agentforce Studio.
  6. Click Connect Data 360, then New Version.
  7. Mouse over General CRM and click +, then New Action.
  8. For Action Name, enter Create Check-in Guest Event.
  9. For Description, enter This action creates a Guest Event record to capture when a contact completes check-in for a reservation.
  10. Click Create and Open.
  11. For Reference Action Type, select Flow; for Reference Action, select Create Check-in Guest Event.
  12. For Inputs, check Require Input to execute action for ContactRecordId.
  13. For Outputs, check Show in conversation for EventSummary.
  14. Click Save, Commit Version twice, then Activate twice.

7. Test the Check-in

  1. In the Sales app, click the Contacts tab and open Sofia Rodriguez.
  2. Refresh the browser.
  3. Click the Agentforce icon to open the panel.
  4. Type Check in Sofia Rodriguez and press Enter/Return.
  5. Confirm the agent responds that check-in is complete, and the Guest Event record was created.
